Global Migration, Mobility and Tourism Forum (GMMTF)

Migration flows (Mediterranean & Central America), refugee systems, visa reforms and sustainable tourism recovery.

Beginner Committee

The Global Migration, Mobility & Tourism Forum (GMMTF) examines the complex links between migration, refugee protection, and tourism in the Mediterranean and Latin America. With migration flows from Africa to Europe and Central America to the US creating humanitarian and security challenges, governments face pressure to balance border control with human rights. At the same time, tourism-dependent economies seek sustainable recovery after COVID-19. Delegates will debate refugee systems, visa reforms, and regional mobility agreements to reduce irregular migration. The forum aims to produce a rescue protocol, a migrant processing toolkit, and a sustainable tourism recovery charter.
