Digital Economy & Artificial Intelligence Forum (DEAI Forum)

Cross-border data flows, AI safety & misinformation, digital public infrastructure (IDs, payments, health) and SME digitization.

Beginner Committee

The Digital Economy & Artificial Intelligence Forum (DEAI Forum) focuses on shaping a safe, inclusive, and interoperable digital future for South Asia. As the region experiences rapid digitization, challenges arise around cross-border data flows, AI-driven misinformation, and fragmented digital public infrastructure (IDs, payments, health). Deepfakes and unchecked AI systems threaten democratic stability, while small and medium enterprises (SMEs) risk exclusion without state-backed digital support. Delegates will debate regional standards for AI safety, mechanisms to counter misinformation, and frameworks for SME integration. The forum seeks to establish AI testing and watermarking principles, a digital infrastructure roadmap, and an SME digitization toolkit.
