A Letter from the Secretary General
It is with great joy and deep respect that I welcome you to the IISP G20 Conference 2025. This gathering is not only a meeting of minds, but also a meeting of hearts — a shared space where diverse voices and experiences come together in the spirit of Lokasahgraha — the ancient wisdom of collective upliftment.
This year’s theme, “Empathy in Action. Leadership with Purpose,” reminds us that true leadership is not measured by power alone, but by the capacity to listen, to care, and to act with integrity for the greater good. In a world often divided by borders, ideologies, and interests, empathy is the bridge that reconnects us to our common humanity. Purposeful leadership transforms that empathy into meaningful change.
As delegates, you carry the responsibility of shaping conversations that will ripple far beyond this conference hall. Each dialogue you enter, each perspective you share, is an act of building a more inclusive, compassionate, and sustainable world. Let us approach this journey not as representatives of separate nations or institutions, but as fellow travelers committed to the well-being of all.
I would also like to take this moment to acknowledge and thank the tireless efforts of the Secretariat. Their dedication, hard work, and spirit of service have made this gathering possible, and their commitment reflects the very ideals of empathy and purposeful leadership that guide us this year.
